Why does pubg feel so clunky

Comparing to Battlefield game,not to mention CSGO and other FPS multiplayer games,why does pubg movement/mouse aim feel so clunky? I feel like aiming should be much smoother.I mean it’s not that bad but i think it would really need a slight improvement

Other times, i’ll jump, and barely cover 1 1/2 inches. Sometimes, i’ll jump, and my character will move in a completely different direction. Maybe it just because i’m pretty new? I have 1k+ hours on PUBG on PC and also 500+ hours on Fortnite on Xbox. I have played Fortnite on PC, but prefer it on Console, like most games that I play on both. Idk why I’ve always felt the aim was off. Even with the changes to aim assist or even turning it off it still feel weird on all guns. I believe it’s the change of the reticle. In old gears games it was either a circle or some rounded shape but gears 5 has these dots. They try to add more precision to shooting but it doesn’t work for gears.
